Here is the first in a series of long-beat rhythms as meditation tracks.
Here is the suggested meditation -
sit with the track for 5 minutes laying down and try not to understand it or make sense of the beat, let go of controlling or understanding it - make this a conscious choice to do so.
For the 5 minutes following - sit with the transcript (below) and pick a part of the rhythm for you to follow, each part has a different sound and find where that part is everytime it comes around and focus on that part only - you can start with part one and work through to part 5 later on and increase recognition as parts as you feel comfortable being able to follow them.
Then lay down again and consciously let go control of understanding what is going on for another 5 minutes.
Then get up and follow another part of the rhythm for the next five minutes.
Do this as you can and increase your understanding of the parts until you can follow the entire rhythm and not skip anything when it is on.
When the rhythm becomes comfortable and sits in your subconscious it becomes effortless to follow.
By consciously engaging and disengaging using this meditation method you train the same in your neural pathways and habits of thought in your brain. This allows you to do the same in other parts of your life - to not get frustrated when you can't understand or control something and then return to it, only picking a single part in the understanding you are working towards understanding the whole in increments.
